Product highlights:

  • Pairs with Hitachi EH1700-3 and EH3500ACII rigid frame trucks.
  • Increased engine and hydraulic cooling capacity. The EX2600-6 is now outfitted with one large fan for hydraulic O/C, as opposed to two smaller fans.
  • Cab is designed for comfort and productivity – includes air-suspension operator’s seat, electric joystick controls, LCD monitor and folding stairway access.
  • Hydraulic system results in 10% more output and features six main pumps and three valves.
  • Great environmental performance – Cummins QSKTA50C generates 1119 kW (1,500 gross horsepower) at 1,800 rpm (an increase of 7%) while meeting EPA Tier 2 emission regulations.
  • Increases efficiency with exclusive auto-leveling crowd mechanism.
  • Strong-boom and arm are full-box section, with low stress, high-tensile steel for reinforcement.
  • Available in both backhoe and front-shovel configurations.
  • Other new features include swing bearing, machine access to right side of counterweight and short reach backhoe front.
